Before you begin
You need Editor or Admin on the Commerce store. Decide currency, tax class, and whether the SKU is physical or digital.
Create a product
- Open Commerce Products Add product.
- Enter title, description, and primary image with explicit dimensions.
- Set price, compare-at price if needed, and tax category.
- Save as draft until inventory and shipping are ready.
Variants
Add options (size, color) before publishing. Each variant needs its own SKU and stock count when inventory tracking is on.
Collections
Group products for storefront navigation. Prefer rule-based collections for large catalogs; use manual lists for curated merchandising.
Publish safely
Preview the product page on mobile, confirm the buy button, and publish. If the storefront still shows stale prices, purge CDN for that path or wait for the next cache window.
