Confirm the target
Open the site’s Environments panel. Note which hostname is production vs preview. Labels in the publish dialog must match that map.
Roll back
If production received the wrong revision, roll back from release history to the last known-good publish, then fix content on preview.
Republish correctly
Publish to preview first, QA the exact URL, then promote. Avoid “publish all” shortcuts on multi-brand workspaces.
Prevent repeats
Name environments after customer-facing brands. Require a second reviewer on production publishes for high-traffic sites.
