Connect a custom domain

Point DNS at Build Me Web, verify the hostname, and wait for automatic SSL.

Add the hostname

In the site, open Domains Add domain. Enter apex, www, or a subdomain. Designate one canonical host and redirect the rest.

DNS records

Apex domains typically use A or ALIAS records
Subdomains and www use CNAME
Optional TXT for ownership verification

Copy the exact values from the Domains panel — do not reuse records from another project.

SSL

Certificates provision automatically after DNS verifies. Force HTTPS only after status shows active. Propagation is often minutes; allow up to 48 hours for stubborn caches.

Troubleshooting

Remove conflicting AAAA or old A records
Disable incorrect CDN proxy settings at the DNS host
Confirm you edited the zone for the right registrar account
